Lippe Taylor takes sophisticated virtual dressing rooms straight to the customer
Getting customers excited about a potential time-saving and fun technology entices retailers to consider adopting the augmented reality product.
While the virtual dressing rooms from FaceCake Marketing Technologies
are costly and clearly targeted at department stores and other fashion retailers, media relations agency Lippe Taylor
created demand by taking the technology straight to the consumer. Live demonstrations on popular TV shows created buzz and interest among the target audience of consumers, which in turn put the virtual dressing room technology on retailers’ radar.
For its successful use of B2C marketing to create demand for a B2B product, Lippe Taylor takes top honors in the Best Product/Service Launch category of Ragan’s 2014 PR Daily Awards.
