Soundbites: A PR Insider’s Guide to Video

Medialink's "Soundbites" Features Practical Tips and Advice on Web and Broadcast Video

What does HD mean for my work as a communications professional? If I am planning a media event, what do I need to know about TV Sweeps? Internet and broadcast leader Medialink is proud to announce the launch of Soundbites, a free series of fast-paced, two-minute videos that help address these and a myriad of other questions about Web video, viral applications and the evolving broadcast arena.

Our clients, both large and small, are increasingly asking us to explain new Web video formats, changes in television technology, and how to better tap video into social networks. Our expertise is internet and broadcast video and audio – the center of dramatic media and technology innovation – so we launched this educational series to share our knowledge with the industry at large, in the medium that we have mastered – video.

Soundbites is housed in Medialink's multimedia Interactive News Release, which will grow to serve as a reference library to help communication professionals be more effective. As it evolves, this online library will support interactivity, feedback, polling and posting by public relations, public affairs and marketing professionals.
