That’s the message that clothing company Barabas is peddling in the wake of kingpin Joaqin "El Chapo" Guzman's high-profile interview with actor Sean Penn and subsequent recapture:
The Los Angeles brand is known for its loud, colorful shirts. Two recent photos of Guzman—including the highly shared photo of Guzman with Penn—show him wearing Barabas shirts.
Rather than shying away from having its brand connected to one of Mexico’s most notorious drug traffickers, Barabas is using it as marketing fodder on social media and its website:
