55 percent of working moms feel ‘overwhelmed’

TheLadders.com, an online job matching service, surveyed 250 working moms (or those who soon will be) about their work-life balance.

More than half of the women surveyed (55 percent) said the struggle to excel at work and at home is “overwhelming.” Sixteen percent said they always put family first and their career has suffered, while 3 percent insist they put their career first and their family has suffered because of it.
