Major League Baseball's All-Star mustaches and beards

By Michael Sebastian | Posted: July 10, 2012
For people working in sports public relations, tomorrow is the best day of the year, according to Mike Schaffer, the director of social media for iostudio. It's the day after Major League Baseball's All-Star game, and none of America's major sporting events are taking place. It just might be the slowest day of the year for sports PR, Schaffer wrote on his blog The Buzz.

On social media, meanwhile, tonight will be a busy one, with baseball players and fans sharing their observations on the game. To that end, Mashable shared an infographic of the most active social networkers in the game, while Major League Baseball offers this lineup of the players to follow.

And here's an entirely different lineup—of the best facial hair in baseball. The infographic (from designer and journalist Shelley Holmgren) shows us the finest facial hair now, along with some of the game's trendsetters. Because why not.
