Oreo gives world a 'high-five' with final Daily Twist image

By Michael Sebastian | Posted: October 3, 2012
After 100 days of creating and sharing images of Oreo cookies that reflect current events, the team behind the wildly popular Daily Twist campaign released its final image: An Internet high five.

The image is the result of a crowdsourcing campaign that took place in New York's Time Square on Tuesday.

Thus far on Facebook, the image has more than 7,000 "likes" and hundreds of comments. Some of the commenters claim they high fived the screen when they saw the pic. Now that's engagement.

Oreo launched the Daily Twist in June to commemorate the cookie's 100th birthday. It's finale was Oct. 2. Along with Oreo's own creative team, DraftFCB and digital agency 360i helped with the effort. Weber Shandwick handled PR.
