A tiny percentage of pitches are so awful, so embarrassing and cringe-worthy that they can almost—almost—give the entire PR profession a bad name.

Poynter asked journalists for their worst PR pitches recently, and they didn’t disappoint. Here are some highlights:

What are the worst PR pitches you’ve gotten? A tech reporter got a pitch to cover an event in Sweden called ‘Santa, the master of his craft’
