How lovers communicate in the Digital Age

By Kevin Allen | Posted: February 12, 2013
Love in the Digital Age is a curious thing. If I weren’t married, my mind would inch closer to explosion with every misinterpreted text message, tweet, or Facebook post.

Recently, Sendmail surveyed people to find out how love birds are connecting.

It seems that some of us, despite our digital tendencies, are still old fashioned: 27 percent prefer to connect with their romantic interest via phone. That’s closely followed by texting (26 percent) and email (24 percent). Only 11 percent said Facebook.

A mere 3 percent of people email their lover via corporate email, with the vast majority going with personal email accounts.
