The National Security Agency (NSA) has a long way to go if it’s going to tweak its image, which is currently a Big Brother overlord who reads our emails and text messages.
The first step in the process? A shiny new press kit.
Any of you PR pros out there who may be curious to know what it would look like if Big Brother put out a press kit are in luck. Syracuse.com
published a copy of the kit in a photo gallery.
It highlights some of the NSA’s “mission and contributions to national defense.”
It’s rife with vague, dystopian taglines such as “Defending our nation/Securing the future” and “The mission never sleeps.”
There’s even a mythbusting section. Among the myths busted are “The NSA sets its own agenda” and “NSA monitors the world’s communications systems at all times.”
