Kraft dumps homeless man with golden voice

By Michael Sebastian | Posted: March 9, 2011
Remember Ted Williams, the homeless man with a warm, Camel-coated radio voice?

The Web video of him went viral in January; he made the talk-show rounds; Kraft scooped him up to do voiceover work in their commercials, and the Cleveland Cavaliers were in talks to offer him a job.

Amid all the hoopla, the public learned Williams still had some problems with alcohol and was estranged from his family.

A couple of months later and Kraft has dropped him and pulled his commercials, and the offer from the Cavaliers is dead, according to GOOD.

Oh, well. There’s still a reality TV. TMZ reported that Williams will star in a show called, “Second Chances at Life.”
