Big change in AP style announced: E-mail is now email

The Associated Press decreed on Friday that e-mail is now email. No hyphen. The change will be reflected in the AP Stylebook online and in the 2011 edition.

Ta-daaahhhh! (Still hyphenated.)

It made the announcement on its Twitter feed.
