Twitter has announced “Follower Dashboard,” a tool for marketers to learn more about their Twitter followers.
Clickz reports that stats available to marketers will include timelines of follower numbers, demographic information (like gender and location), interests, levels of engagement, and the types of other users they follow.
The new feature’s geo-targeting capabilities enable companies to see their followers' locations by country, state, and in some cases, metropolitan areas,
Clickz says.

Ad Age Digital conference, Follower Dashboard is the latest step in Twitter's efforts to create features geared toward marketers.
