PR pro: ‘One in three [British] PR agency heads is an idiot’

By | Posted: April 20, 2011
British PR pro Paul Sutton was shocked this week when he read that the U.K. PR industry is questioning its approach to digital and social media. Again.

Sutton writes:

“Maybe it's because I work for an agency that's forward-thinking when it comes to online PR, or perhaps it’s because I have a network of like-minded peers, but the fact that 34 percent of PR agencies don't have a digital strategy and that, astoundingly, 6 percent don't even think it's relevant to their business, is mind-blowing.”

Read more of Sutton’s passionate opinion at his blog post, cheekily titled “One in three PR agency heads is an idiot.”
