Study: Online men are ‘influencers,’ while women are ‘community builders’

How do men and women behave online? A recent study by Aol and Nielsen sought to find out.

The study said women outnumber men online, but men are more likely to share digital media content, according to MediaPost.

Men are likely to share important news to position themselves as influential; women are more likely to share common interest news or "community-building" content.
