Some say it was long overdue.
Bloomberg.com has a newly designed homepage, moving it from a bare-bones automated feed of the Bloomberg Professional terminal to an “editorially curated model.”
That’s how Josh Tyrangiel, editor of Bloomberg.com and
Bloomberg Businessweek magazine, explained the changes to
The Wall Street Journal. He said:
The new site will have a panoramic window for photos and videos that Mr. Tyrangiel said will ‘help create a bit more drama around the lead story.’ Other changes include a Market Snapshot section and ‘non-stop news’ module at the top of the page and stories organized into sections such as Tech, Personal Finance and Bloomberg View, the company’s new opinion section that launched on Wednesday in conjunction with the new site.
Have a look at
the site—plus the new
Bloomberg View.
