Report: You’re more likely to survive a plane crash than click on a banner ad

By Kevin Allen | Posted: July 1, 2011
When was the last time you intentionally clicked on an Internet banner ad?

Chances are it’s been a while.

Case in point, a study from Solve Media that says you’re more likely to survive a plane crash or win the lottery than click a banner ad.

These events are also more likely to happen than a person clicking a banner ad:

• The World Series ending in a walk-off home run;
• Getting into Harvard;
• Becoming a Navy Seal;
• Summiting Everest.

Point taken, Solve Media.
