AT&T study: 41 percent of small businesses have a Facebook page

By Michael Sebastian | Posted: March 24, 2011
Last week, AT&T unveiled the results of its Small Business Technology Poll.

Here’s are three key findings from the poll:

1. 72 percent said they use mobile apps for business, with 38 percent indicating they could not survive—or it would be a major challenge to survive—without mobile apps.

2. 41 percent of small businesses surveyed have a Facebook page for their business. Last year, 27 percent said they’re using the social network, which represents a 52 percent jump from last year.

3. 40 percent of small businesses report that all their employees use wireless devices or wireless technologies to work remotely, a 66 percent jump in the past two years.
