Assistant PR manager at MARS

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: August 13, 2012
If you get at all angry or divalicious when you’re famished, you’ll definitely want to reach for a Snickers before you interview for this position—not just to satisfy your hunger, but because it’d be good research.

That’s because the job is with MARS, Inc., maker of such chocolaty delights as Snickers, Milky Way, Twix, M&M’s, 3 Musketeers, and more. But as the company’s new assistant PR manager, the duties won’t be all taste-testing. Instead, you’ll have to test your ability to multitask while building relationships with your fellow employees, as well as externally with the media, agencies, vendors, key partners, and the company’s clients.

Sure, being a spokesperson is easy when you’re an animated, candy-shell coated chocolate, but in this role, you’re going at it as just you. Prove to MARS why that might be even better when you apply here.
