Digital production assistant for ESPN

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: October 5, 2012
According to results of AskMen’s “Great Male Survey,” guys feel ESPN’s Chris Berman is TV’s worst sportscaster, securing a dazzling 35 percent of the vote. That, however, didn’t stop the network from recently signing the reviled anchor to a new multi-year extension on his contract.

While the network's decision might irk sports fan, job seekers might consider it a noble move for the company to stand by its employees. In fact, it almost makes me eager to apply there.

Lucky for anyone interested—not to mention, my current employer—my subpar sports knowledge wouldn’t make me much of a threat in the game. The company needs a digital production assistant who, aside from maintaining a strong knowledge of sports, also has the communications and content editing skills to back it up.
