Job of the Day: Communications manager for NASCAR

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: October 3, 2011
“Racecar” spelled backward is “racecar.”

Much like the word itself, operations at NASCAR need to flow fluidly both forward and backward. And just like on the track, every second counts. Even in a crash, its important not to panic.

That being the case, if you think you can keep pace with the competition while also keeping track of daily media and stakeholder relations on the company’s behalf, NASCAR would be happy to add you to its pit team as its newest communications manager.

And despite the commotion in the press of more and more girl drivers getting behind the wheel, NASCAR is an equal opportunity employer. Hear that, Danica—even you can apply.
