With
world markets on edge over last week’s dismal
jobs report, the website
24/7 Wall St. is looking at the “
best-paying jobs of the future,” based on demand and salary.
The report covers a broad range of professions—from health care to engineering—and tucked within this list of 10 jobs is market research analyst.
Here’s what
27/7 Wall St. had to say:
“Market analysts work with large companies to provide insight into demographics and target audiences. Over the next decade, these individuals are expected to be in hot demand. According to the BLS, ‘Market research analysts, the larger specialty, will experience much faster than average job growth because competition between companies seeking to expand their market and sales of their products will generate a growing need for marketing professionals.’”
The number of new jobs created in this field from 2008 to 2018 is projected to be 70,100, an increase of nearly 30 percent. The median pay would be $60,570.
According to
24/7 Wall St., the majority of the jobs would be located in Massachusetts, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Think you could make the move?
