Next time someone questions the amount of time you spend on Facebook, tell them it’s making you smarter, maybe.
Researchers at University College London found a direct link between the number of friends a person has on Facebook and the size of certain brain regions.
Basically, the more Facebook friends a person has, the larger those portions of the brain are.
The big question-mark casting a shadow over this study is whether having more Facebook friends causes parts of the brain to grow or whether some people are predisposed to having more friends.
