A few handy tools can really cut down on the busywork.

The right set of tools can help a PR or marketing pro create visual content, launch popular social media campaigns, network better, stay in the news loop and more.

Here are five digital media tools to add to your arsenal:

1. Spice up your content with Giphy.

Visual content is more popular than ever, and videos are attracting more and more eyeballs. GIFs skirt the line between still images and videos, and are an easy alternative that appeals to PR and marketing pros’ audiences.

Giphy is a website devoted to GIFs. Users can search by keyword, check out GIF creators’ content or browse collections in a variety of subjects. You can even create your own channel and upload GIFs either you or others have created (there’s a spot for you to insert attribution.)

Once you create your own channel, you can also favorite other GIFs throughout the site, which can give brand managers easy access to looping images to use on Twitter and Facebook when responding to a fan.

Using Giphy—including creating your own channel—is free.
