Walmart pulls ‘suicide scar’ makeup after online outrage

The company said the item, sold by a third party, was ‘appalling’ and ‘unacceptable.’

This time Walmart is removing a set that calls itself “Razor Blade Suicide Scar Wound Latex Costume Make Up.”

In case the $3.99 item’s name doesn’t describe it sufficiently, there’s definitely a photo:

The retail chain’s Facebook and Twitter accounts were peppered with social media users—many of whom are parents—expressing outrage. Messages such as this were plentiful:
