No stranger to spreading viral content, social news site Reddit has seen its share of positive and negative attention from the rest of the media. In a recent interview with ABC News, its
co-founder Alexis Ohanian defends his site, as well as users’ Internet freedoms. Says Ohanian, “The challenge that Reddit faces, like all other social media sites, is how do we be better stewards of the technology."

Also defying naysayers, not to mention perhaps the law, Kim Dotcom unveiled on Thursday a “sequel” to his shuttered file-sharing site, Megaupload. "The new Mega will not be threatened by U.S. prosecutors,"
Dotcom told Reuters.
