How to eat healthy during a summer barbecue

By Michael Sebastian | Posted: July 5, 2012
On the Fourth of July, Americans will consume 150 million hot dogs; that’s enough to stretch from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles—more than five times.

We’re also going to drink a lot of beer. In fact, it’s the biggest beer-drinking holiday in the U.S.

It all sounds delicious.

Those stats are courtesy of an infographic from DietDiva.com, which—in case you want to eat and drink healthy this Independence Day—has five tips for healthier backyard barbecues.

Good luck with that. Happy Fourth of July.
