Director of cause marketing with the Boys and Girls Club of America

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: March 11, 2013
“Just ‘cause” was never really a suitable reason for doing something as a child. In fact, it was exactly the kind of answer I’d question my parents on before being sent to my room.

Well, the same rule goes for applying for jobs. You don’t put your name in the hat of potential candidates “just ‘cause.”

But a cause—now that’s a different story, and it’s one that the Boys and Girls Club of America knows rather well.

The organization is hiring a director of cause marketing to head efforts at its national headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., where the person in this position will collaborate on the execution and evaluation of various campaign events and promotions while working alongside its team of public relations, creative, Web, communications, and advertising professionals, as well as celebrities.
