Odds are you’ve spent so much time thinking about what to buy at Ikea you’ve never considered how the company selects the names of its products. How do they come up with all those unpronounceable names for their tables, chairs and bookcases?
As The Week points, out, some of the Swedish words they use correlate to their products. Others, not so much. The Week listed 14 words that don’t exactly translate to the products they’re tied to.
