‘The Brand Deck’ turns branding sessions into a game

A Kickstarter project seeks to get creative juices flowing and break up the monotony of strategy and messaging meetings.

Scott Thomas, the design lead for the 2008 Obama presidential campaign, created “The Brand Deck,” a game with 100 adjectives which compare and contrast a brand’s traits. We may see more agencies and marketing departments break this out to give team brainstorms a little kick.

It’s a fairly simple card game that will help creatives define their brand’s identity. Thomas described how the game works in this video.
