It’s time for all things year-in-review. So for those of us who work in content, what better time to take a look back at the year in … content?

Appropriately enough, this Sparksheet infographic calls 2012 “The Year of the Infographic.” It was also the year of sponsorships, books, false idols and memes.

Between “Call Me Maybe,” “Gangnam Style,” Kony 2012, and Nate Silver’s ridiculously accurate use of data to predict the presidential election, what do you see as the most influential piece of content this year?
