Social media manager with World Wrestling Entertainment

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: June 29, 2012
Here are a few of the variety of matches the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) should consider to help weed out candidates for its new social media manager:

• Hell in a Cell, in which the only escape is a pin or submission.

• Ladder, in which contestants try to retrieve an item dangling above the ring.

• Tuxedo Match, in which two men dressed in tuxes fight. Obviously.

Lucky for job seekers, proficiency in these sorts of matches isn’t a skillset the WWE wants (for this job).

Instead, the sports-entertainment company prefers the right contender be familiar enough with online networks and platforms to tag team with content producers to strategize new, interactive ways to engage its audience online.

But that’s not all, brother. So before you scale the ropes of the ring, learn more here about other skills the WWE hopes to find in the right applicant.
