Social media coordinator for Blockbuster

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: July 31, 2012
Romantic comedies have ruined me.

Years of being subjected to the implausible boy-meets-girl "meet-cutes" of all these ludicrous films that make audiences believe in the once-in-a-lifetime kind of love have left me feeling hopeless about any real-life relationship.

And do you know who deserves partial blame for this? You, Blockbuster—you and your shelf after shelf of new and old DVDs and VHS tapes that I’ve grown up watching.

Oh, and you best believe your new social media coordinator is going to be hearing from me. Whether he or she is tweeting, posting to Facebook, or simply contributing to the company blog, I’ll be there, airing my grievances, even if other customers aren’t.

If the grumblings of my sad love life aren’t enough to scare you like a Wes Craven horror flick, feel free to learn more of the job details here.
