Recently, analytics firm Socialbakers began ranking Facebook brands according to local fans—a statistics that was once only available to Facebook page administrators.
Here are the top 10 brands based on fans in the U.S., compared with their overall fans:
1. Walmart — 24.6 million in the U.S. vs. 26.2 million worldwide
2. Target – 20.6 million vs. 21.5 million
3. Samsung Mobile USA — 16.2 million vs. 22.6 million
4. Starbucks – 15.7 million vs. 33.4 million
5. Amazon.com – 15.2 million vs. 16.2 million
6. Subway – 14 million vs. 20 million
7. Skittles – 11.9 million vs. 24.1 million
8. Coca-Cola – 11.4 million vs. 58 million
9. Disney – 11.2 million vs. 41.1 million
10. Oreo – 11.1 million vs. 31.3 million
