Jimmy John’s chooses not to respond to photos reportedly showing owner hunting big game

The photos have been circulating for some time, but they take on particular significance after the death of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe.

Jimmy John’s is saying nothing about a series of photos that allegedly show the sandwich chain’s owner, Jimmy John Liautaud, smiling over the carcasses of three elephants, a rhinoceros and a leopard.

The re-emergence of the photos have led to calls for a boycott. Jimmy John’s hasn’t responded to a Business Insider request for comment.
