The Internet is full of articles offering tips on how to deal with social media whiners
well as how to reward brand cheerleaders.
But what about all the other fans who fall in between? What about the casual likers or quiet followers? They can become strong advocates if you approach
them the right way.

Here are a few examples:
1. The quiet follower
This follower knows your organization, but may not be a customer. He will sometimes read your posts, but only if they catch his eye.
To engage this fan, post content that encourages participation, such as polls and videos.
2. The casual liker
This follower genuinely likes some of your posts. She will connect with your brand because of a past positive experience, or because she wants to be a good
source of information for friends.
To engage this fan, post creative updates about new products or services, and encourage fans to share them.
3. The deal seeker
This follower values a good deal over loyalty.
To engage this fan, offer deals and promotions. Encourage people to share them, and you may even see some new business.
