Kit Kat garners positive PR for campus theft response
The chocolate maker racked up love after sending replacement candy to a college student who tweeted that his bar was stolen.
It all started when Kansas State student Hunter Jobbins tweeted this:
Left my car for maybe 15 minutes in front of the dorms and I come back to this. College man pic.twitter.com/KlDx5BtXLX

The tweet picked up plenty of attention, and even caught a brand manager’s eye:
@jabbins Who steals someones Kit Kat?! WHO DOES THAT?! Shoot us a DM and we’ll replace it for you ð«

So, what did the chocolate company do to make it right? They provided Jobbins with a carful of Kit Kats: 6,500, to be exact. Check it out:
