For all the Gaps and American Apparels that have suffered relatively minor marketing self-destruction when compared to that of the damage produced by Hurricane Sandy, you’d think we’d have all learned our lesson. However, we’ve underestimated the human race yet again.

Case in point: Former Brazilian Playboy model Nana Gouvea who has been slammed for her “sexy” photo shoot taken amid the storm’s devastation. The images hatched countless online parodies, including a Tumblr and Facebook page, as well as Gawker‘s “Guide to Posing for Glamour Shots in the Aftermath of a Devastating Natural Disaster.”
