Client service is a fundamental part of your product.

No matter how innovative, skillful or fabulous your work is, if your client service is poor, the client will never see past that negative relationship.

PR pros should know that product and service are rarely mutually exclusive. Although a good product won’t help a client overlook poor service, good service might help make an average product more acceptable.

Client service doesn’t mean bowing to your client’s every command. Instead, it’s about creating a relationship of trust, leadership, insight and expertise, and it’s probably why you were hired.
