Coffee shop bans Instagram and ‘annoying hipster topics’

The jig is up, hipsters. Your free Wi-Fi privileges have been revoked—at least at one Bay Area coffee shop. To maintain amity among its “Caledonia neighbors,” San Francisco’s Four Barrel has prohibited rowdy customers at its outdoor Alley café, as well as littering and leaving dirty dishes outside. These are not outlandish requests—until we learn that it also prohibits patrons from talking about “annoying hipster topics” and from using Instagram.

I bet Tom Hanks could get away with using Instagram. They already love him on Reddit, where photos of the film icon posing with a “drunk” fan appeared.
