Brian McCoy is the Integrated Marketing and Digital Strategy Director in the Office of Marketing and Concessions at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, where he leads growth-focused marketing strategies across Dulles International and Reagan National Airports and digital engagement across our global digital platforms. McCoy organized the digital strategy program for the Airport Authority in 2015, creating one of the first online airport presences with a travel-centered focus in North America. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (B.A.) in communication studies and earned a master’s degree in mass communications from Texas Southern University. He began his career in marketing for Red Bull Energy Drink Company in 2002 and broadcasting at Houston PBS, where he won a Lone Star EMMY Award in writing.
