Julie Wall Khoury, J.D.
Vice President, Corporate Communications - Aprio
Julie Wall Khoury, J.D., is Vice President of Corporate Communications at Aprio, the 20th-largest business advisory and accounting firm in the U.S., with more than 3,500 team members across 50 offices serving clients in more than 50 countries. Aprio’s wealth management business reports more than $5.8 billion in assets under advisement. A member of Aprio’s growth leadership team, Khoury works closely with the CEO and executive leadership to connect communications directly to enterprise strategy, M&A, market expansion, stakeholder alignment and long-term value creation as the firm continues its rapid growth and transformation.
Khoury is also helping redesign what a modern comms team looks like in the age of AI. At Aprio, she's building an AI-enabled operating model that integrates three named AI agents into the communications team, each with defined roles, job descriptions and responsibilities alongside their human colleagues. The work explores not just what AI can automate, but how leaders redesign teams, workflows, accountability and human judgment when digital workers begin taking on meaningful communications work.
Khoury brings more than two decades of experience across enterprise communications, corporate affairs, marketing, business development and reputation strategy in high-growth and highly regulated environments. Before joining Aprio, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Balch & Bingham, where she led marketing, business development, communications and brand strategy for the nationally recognized law firm. Earlier, as a vice president at Markstein, she helped build and scale the agency’s corporate communications practice and advised organizations navigating reputation, litigation and regulatory challenges.
An attorney as well as a communications executive, Khoury holds a J.D. from Birmingham School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Auburn University. Her legal and communications background gives her a distinctive perspective on the governance, reputation and business implications of AI-driven transformation. Aprio’s own executive bio highlights her role partnering with the CEO and Growth Officers and leading communications across media relations, executive communications, internal and external corporate communications and client engagement.
