Like it or not, mobile phone use has consumed our lives. Never again will we be burdened by waiting in line with nothing to do. No longer do we have to sit quietly reading a magazine on an airplane while other passengers board.
But for every positive our smart phones provide, there’s a looming drawback that can’t be ignored—they’re annoying as hell. In fact, three out of four people believe that cell phone etiquette has deteriorated over the last two years.
And texting has made it even worse. We send 3.5 million texts per minute in the U.S., and a full 90 percent of students say they text while they’re in class.
These and other SMH-inducing stats are neatly compiled in this OnlineCollege.org
