Dating etiquette in the age of the smartphone

By Kevin Allen | Posted: January 21, 2013
Editor's note: This story first appeared on PR Daily in December 2011. The advice holds true today, perhaps even more than it did when this story first ran.

Dating isn’t easy. As many a mother has told many a daughter, “There are a lot of creeps out there.”

Making matters worse is the information deluge of the Digital Age. The urge to check our phones—even in the middle of a romantic rendezvous—may be too much for some of us to handle.

Good thing there’s this guide to mobile etiquette for the dialed in set. Naturally, it’s an infographic, by way of Forbes contributor Michael Matthews.

Perhaps most important among these pearls of wisdom is the advice “No blogging or microblogging about the date—even if you have something nice to say.”
