Target under fire for Lilly Pulitzer plus-size collection

The retail chain announced it will only carry larger sizes from the designer online; the decision was met with much criticism.

First Old Navy came under fire for charging more for women’s plus-size jeans but not charging more for men’s. Now it’s Target.

The big box retailer revealed that it will not offer the plus sizes of its popular Lilly Pulitzer clothing line in stores:

@FatGirl_fashion Thanks for your interest in the Lilly Pulitzer for Target line. The plus sized collection will be available online only.

The decision drew backlash from brand loyalists:
