Infographic explains the best time to get retweeted

If only it was that simple to understand Twitter. Luckily, this infographic from Touch is as good a place as any to start.
According to its analysis of the 200 million registered Twitter users—the majority of whom are female (54 percent)—the 30- to 49-year-old crowd makes up the largest age bracket on the social network.
What do they want? Deals.
When do they want it? While 24 percent of users check Twitter several times a day, the most popular time to post—for a retweet, at least—is 5:00 p.m.
After contacting Touch about this 5 o’clock time, we discovered that although the time zone actually refers to the U.K. (GMT), Touch believes its research suggests it could also refer to most European and North American time zones due to the similar culture and working hours. Basically, anywhere where the rush hour occurs between 4 and 7pm.
