Twitter changes please some, anger others

Although the microsite increased users’ ability to add more options to polls, it removed share counts from displaying, angering many publishers.

The latest feature allows users to add up to four options in its polls. Previously, users were just able to add two. It looks like this:

The move has been widely welcomed, but as Twitter giveth, it also taketh away.

You’ll start to notice on publishers’ sites that you can no longer see share counts along with the Twitter share button. The company announced that it would be doing this in October, but now that it’s finally here, several users are ticked.
