3 mobile apps you need for the NCAA tournament
The most exciting two weeks in college sports deserves some of the most exciting apps in the mobile market. Luckily, these three deliver—and they’re free.

1. CBS NCAA March Madness On Demand (free)
This is the app that college basketball lovers have been waiting for—whether it joins you on the couch or distracts you from work. The apps features streaming games, live stats, bracket breakdowns, live box scores, in-game highlights, and push notification alerts. There’s also potential for social media integration, if you’re interested in revealing to your Facebook friends what a dork you are when it comes to March Madness.
The downside? Sorry, Android users. This baby’s only for iOS only. (There is an Android app that gives you the rice and beans of hoops coverage, with a little social media in between.)

2. ESPN Bracket Bound 2011 (free)
Among the Worldwide Leader’s ever-growing line of apps is this March Madness-themed selection. Though ESPN can’t show the games, it can give you the news, insight, and analysis that ESPN does so well. And what it lacks in bells and whistles, it makes up for in high-quality content.
