We’ve come a long way since the days when people referred to their boss with a title, such as Mr., Mrs. or Ms. Indeed, the distance between employee and boss has shrunk considerably for the millennial generation.
A study from AVG Technologies reveals that almost a third of millennials in the U.K. are Facebook friends with their boss. Further, it seems most of them don’t care who sees what on their profile. Two thirds of those millennials don’t bother to “restrict the content co-workers are able to access,” according to an
AVG press release.
They might want to reconsider that approach, since one out of ten respondents said they’ve disparaged their boss or company on a social media profile.
