What if advertising, creative, and marketing agencies were judged not by the quality of their work, but by the number of social media fans and web traffic?
Well, then you’d probably have the Top50 Ad Agencies project
The company takes a look at Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn followers, plus web traffic as reported by Alexa. A quick glance at the list tells you immediately who’s willing to pay for fans and followers and who’s actually smarter than that. I’m sure Ogilvy & Mather, the agency with the highest score, is infinitely proud that the highest number of engaged users are coming from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
Having said that, here’s how the top 10 currently shakes out:
1. Ogilvy & Mather
3. Wieden + Kennedy
5. Leo Burnett
