1-eyed mascots a hit with kids? London Olympics organizers think so
London recently unveiled the mascots for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The choice is a bit, errr….different. The characters—Wenlock and Mandeville—are a far cry from the typical warm, fuzzy creatures most cities’ organizers favor. The mascots are cyclopes—one-eyed creatures—and have strange heads.
